This is the final design for the Solar Systems Navigation screens. From this layout the player will instantly know which areas are Allied or Foe controlled by the use of the coloured mists.

This is the developement blog for Space Unlimited. As I go on my journey to create the ultimate `Unlimited Space Game` for the PC. I will try to cope with the Huge numbers needed for `Real Size` solar systems and planets etc etc...

looking good, but i think the suns/stars are way too big. Also the opacity falloff you have on the stars ends too abruptly. What I mean is, it doesn't go "see through" enough and looks too 'perfect'?
here's a screen shot from EVE that basically sums up what I meant. the stars are smaller and the glow ends quite gradually.
